Part Time Childcare Practitioner

The childcare practitioner will work as part of the centre team promoting the Aims & Objectives of our community childcare service and ensuring the provision of secure, quality childcare for children in our care.

Level 5 or higher FETAC/QQI major award in Early Childhood Education is required.Must be reliable competent and prepared to work flexibly in all areas of the service.Applicants must have knowledge of health & safety & quality standards; be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to further training and development as required.Must demonstrate excellent communication skills including written and verbal English as communications and records keeping are essential to the role.Must meet the criteria for the Community Services Programme.Must supply suitable references and be in a position to obtain Garda Vetting. If lived outside Ireland for 6 months or more, must provide a clean Police Clearance Certificate from that country.
