A supportive primary school in Gateshead is seeking a resilient Part-Time Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to help pupils who need additional support with behaviour and engagement.
This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to pupils' daily experiences in school.
The role is part-time, term time only, working 8.30am to 3.30pm.
The RoleYou will work closely with pupils who may need extra support to stay focused and engaged in the classroom.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation
- Working 1:1 or with small groups
- Helping pupils stay engaged in lessons
- Encouraging positive routines and behaviour
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
Your role will be key in helping pupils feel supported and understood.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
