Colchester Country Park is a well-established, professionally managed caravan and lodge park. We are seeking an experienced park operative to support the day to day operation of the park. Applications are welcome from individuals or couples; however, previous park experience is essential.

An immediate start is required.

Role Overview

This is a hands on role within a busy caravan and lodge park and requires someone comfortable taking responsibility across all areas of park operations. Applicants must have proven experience within a caravan, holiday, leisure, or touring park environment and be confident working independently in a live, customer facing setting.

Duties

• General maintenance, handyman work, and grounds upkeep
• Preparing, presenting, and maintaining plots, pitches, and communal areas to a high standard
• Managing the movement of touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents on and off the park
• Acting as a first point of contact for holiday home owners, touring guests, and visitors
• Reception duties, including enquiries, bookings, and basic administration
• Assisting with holiday home and lodge viewings and ongoing sales support
• Supporting all aspects of the park's day to day running as required

Accommodation Requirement (Essential)

Applicants must have their own touring caravan or motorhome, which will be used for on site accommodation.

There is no accommodation provided with this role.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working on a caravan, holiday, leisure, or touring park
• Reliable, professional, and well presented
• Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Confident dealing with owners, guests, and visitors
• Practical, adaptable, and responsible
