Parcel Sorter

Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail with warehouse recruitment at the Midlands Super Hub. We're currently looking for reliable Parcel Sorters who are available to work weekend shifts.

This is a temporary, hands-on role within a busy parcel operation, with additional shifts potentially available during busier periods.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sorting and scanning parcels
  
  
• Loading and unloading parcels and pallets
  
  
• Moving parcels around the warehouse
  
  
• Preparing parcels and containers for despatch
  
  
• Keeping your work area safe and organised
  
  

What We're Looking For

No previous experience is needed as training is provided. You'll need to:

• Be available to work weekends
  
  
• Be reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• Be happy standing and walking for long periods
  
  
• Be able to handle mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg
  
  
• Be comfortable switching between different warehouse tasks
  
  

Pay Rates

Rates vary depending on shift times, from £13.69 for mornings and days to £16.44 per hour for nights. Pay rates to be confirmed once a shift pattern is agreed.



Shift Patterns (Earlies and Lates available)

Friday 0545 or 1400 start times

Saturday 0545 or 1900 start times

Sunday 0600 or 1800 start times
