Job Description
- Assist with the drafting, review and execution of transaction documentation
- Support the Legal team with transaction management and closing processes
- Coordinate document circulation, execution and record keeping
- Maintain records and databases
- Conduct legal and regulatory research as required
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, clients and counterparties
- Support the management of external legal advisers and fee tracking
- Assist with legal projects, process improvements and know-how initiatives
- Help maintain legal templates, precedents and internal guidance materials
- Organise the internal knowledge management repository
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal team
- Work closely with the Legal team, Senior Paralegal and business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions on loan agency, capital markets, restructuring and litigation transactions
- Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Previous paralegal, legal internship or legal work experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong academic background and interest in banking and finance law and financial restructuring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
