The role will support the team and the wider business on day to day legal and administrative functions, together with more complex transactional work.
What you will deliver- First drafts (and in time, negotiation of) minor licenses and appointments and other service contracts
- Reviewing third party T's&C's
- Responsible for management and negotiation of NDA's
- Liaising with managing agents and overseeing the issue of licences, rent concessions and any other documents to tenants
- Reviewing and checking replies to enquiries
- Obtaining Land Registry searches and documents
- Assisting with checklists, document management and CP/CS lists for financings, JV's, complex lettings
- Assisting with DD processes
- Overseeing signings and enforcing responsibility within the business and adherence to checklist process
- Keeping team updated on key know-how
- Keeping templates up to date and expanding these
- Attending internal and external meetings
- Legal research and assisting on internal policy updates
- Assisting with residential sales process, including sales documentation, sales packs and launches
- Assisting with property management agreements
- Assisting with TPR/Warranty process
- Deeds management, including uploading of completed documents to project deeds sites
- A high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and Docusign.
- Pro-active and self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative. Always looking for ways to assist the team in working more efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment, building and maintaining strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- A team player with a flexible attitude and adaptable in day-to-day activities with a 'hands on' approach.
- Highly organised and efficient with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and produce work to a high standard.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced team.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills, applying your knowledge to promote new ideas.
- Previous paralegal experience within the real estate sector is an advantage
