Job Description

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Residential Property team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your legal career with a well-established and highly regarded firm, working alongside experienced Partners and fee earners on a broad range of residential property transactions. Whether you already have some conveyancing experience or you're looking to develop your expertise, you'll be supported to grow your skills within a collaborative and friendly team.

About the Role

As a Paralegal, you'll play an important role in supporting the Residential Property team with the day to day management of conveyancing matters. Working closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors, you'll help ensure transactions progress efficiently while delivering an outstanding client experience. This is a varied role that offers plenty of responsibility and the opportunity to gain hands on experience across the full conveyancing process.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Supporting fee earners with a wide range of residential property transactions.
  • Managing your own caseload under supervision, from file opening through to completion and post completion.
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and client communications.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to keep matters progressing smoothly.
  • Monitoring key dates and deadlines to ensure transactions remain on track.
  • Assisting with exchange, completion, post completion matters, redemptions, and the transfer of funds.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating the firm's case management system.
  • Delivering an excellent client experience through clear communication and efficient service.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous legal experience is desirable, although not essential.
  • A Law degree, LPC, CILEX/MILEX qualification, or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • A good understanding of residential conveyancing or property law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, positive approach and willingness to learn.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
  • Pension scheme and life assurance.
  • Access to Perkbox, offering discounts, wellbeing support, and a range of employee benefits.
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
  • A supportive, collaborative, and inclusive working environment.
  • The opportunity to build your career within a highly respected Residential Property team.

If you're looking to take the next step in your legal career and want to be part of a team that values collaboration, client service, and professional development, we'd love to hear from you.
