Are you an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal looking to take the next step in your legal career?

Our client is seeking a motivated and organised Paralegal to join its long-established and highly regarded Residential Property team in Wadebridge.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, collaborative department where teamwork is genuinely valued. You will work closely alongside two experienced fee earners, providing essential support while developing your own technical knowledge and practical experience within residential conveyancing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting two experienced Residential Property fee earners with a varied caseload.
  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence and completion statements.
  • Opening and closing client files and maintaining accurate case records.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties.
  • Managing Land Registry applications and searches.Assisting with exchanges, completions and post-completion matters.
  • Diary management and arranging appointments.
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.
  • Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department.
About You
  • Previous experience within a residential conveyancing team would be advantageous but not necessary.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive and positive approach to work.
  • Strong communication and client care skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Residential Property.
