About your new role

HR Rely Paralegal


Your primary role will be to provide case handling and administrative supportto the HR Rely team.


As a Paralegal you will be provided with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases including unfair dimissal, discrimination, general ER queries, equal pay multiples. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:



  • Assisting fee earners with various tasks including general case management, legal research, drafting of witness statements and reports to clients and preparation for Tribunal hearings

  • The team is presently working on several multiples of equal pay claims and the fee earners responsible require dedicated assistance in complying with the tribunal deadlines. This role would be dedicated to supporting those fee earners and a successful applicant would work under their support and supervision. They would be responsible for working on these large projects as part of the team.

  • Attending client meetings and court hearings to support fee earners

  • Assisting with the instruction of Counsel and experts

  • You will be expected to be able to perform detailed analytical reviews of complex and sensitive materials and evidence

  • You will be expected to respond promptly and accurately to correspondence and telephone enquiries from client and other parties, with and without supervision

  • Achieving set financial and chargeable targets

  • Supporting the team's business development activities

As a Paralegal you will also ensure that you comply with the relevant Weightmans and client policies and procedures, and consistently work in accordance with our values.


About You

You will have previous experienceand a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work.

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets

  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
