We have an exciting new role .Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
The Commercial Property Paralegal will support fee earners and partners with a mix of fee-earning, administrative and matter-management work. The role involves managing files, drafting legal and transactional documents, liaising with clients and third parties, and using legal and office systems efficiently to progress property matters.
Key responsibilities- Take client instructions and provide timely updates.
- Manage own files, progress matters and monitor key dates.
- Draft legal, transactional and client correspondence documents.
- Deal with correspondence and telephone calls with clients, solicitors, agents and other third parties.
- Use IT and case-management systems effectively to improve efficiency.
- Liaise with supervisors, fee earners, support teams and administrative colleagues.
- Manage exchanged and completed documents, including deeds packets, hard copies and uploads to relevant systems.
- Complete client matter updates and support business development initiatives where required.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
- Recent experience working in a legal environment, ideally within property.
- Confident dealing with clients, partners, fee earners and third parties.
- Good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- High level of IT literacy and confidence using integrated office and case-management systems.
- CILEx or similar legal qualification completed or in progress is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, organised, accurate and methodical approach.
- Commercial awareness and strong client-care focus.
- Self-motivated, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to adapt to new technology and modern working practices.
- Strong understanding of commercial property transactions, procedures and documentation.
You'll spend at least 60% of your working week in the office, though we know there is no one-size-fits-all and arrangements may vary from role to role.
