Panel of Substitute Teachers

Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board invites applications for inclusion on the Substitute Teaching Panel for the 2025/2026 academic year. The panel will fill substitute cover vacancies arising in the 2025/26 academic year; inclusion does not guarantee future employment.

• Garda Vetting is a prerequisite to commencing employment.
• Upload a copy of your current registration confirmation from the Teaching Council, including details of the subjects you are registered to teach. Newly Qualified Teachers must also upload proof of application for registration with the Teaching Council.
• Information provided will be submitted directly to the Recruitment and Selection Team for verification.
• Your personal data will be shared with relevant line managers, including Post Primary Principals, Deputy Principals, Adult Education Officers and Directors of Schools/Director of FET, as appropriate.
• The Line Manager will contact you if a substitute vacancy arises.
