We are currently recruiting for a Painter and Decorator at L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
The 4 AA Red Star L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa is situated in the scenic location of St. Brelade's Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in Jersey. With 106 bedrooms The Grill restaurant offering panoramic ocean views, L'Horizon is the ideal setting for a romantic getaway or even an idyllic coastal wedding.
One of the highlights of this boutique beachside hotel in Jersey is the spa, including six treatment rooms, a relaxation area, a pedicure and manicure area and a sleep room.
About the Role- Responsible for delivering extremely high standards of work, within the hotel Maintenance Team, focussing on delivering high quality painting and decorating.
- Making our guests happy, ensuring they have a positive and memorable experience.
- Having an extremely flexible approach and working really hard to avoid causing any disruption to our guest's.
- Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
- Previous and recent experience in a Maintenance role or a painting & decorating role is required.
- Keeping this historic Hotel looking her best and in excellent working order will be your passion and motivation.
- You will enjoy being responsible and taking ownership of resolving issues and working to ensure the safety and security of the Hotel and all of its guests. You will enjoy working with people and building a rapport with your colleagues.
- Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.
- A competitive salary package of £17.24 per hour plus a share of service charge.
- This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
