Phoenix Hospital Group London Sites FlexiBank - Hours as and when required.

Summary:

Phoenix Hospital Group are looking for a reliable, professional and experienced painter to support our Facilities Team across our London sites.

This is an important role in helping us maintain safe, clean and professional clinical and non-clinical environments for our patients, visitors and colleagues. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance, carrying out high quality painting and decorating work whilst working sensitively and professionally within patient-facing healthcare environments.

The Role:

Reporting to the Facilities Engineer, the successful applicant will provide painting and decorating support across multiple Phoenix Hospital Group sites in the Harley Street area.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive painting and decorating work to a high standard
  • Preparing surfaces and using appropriate materials in line with instructions and required standards
  • Supporting room turnarounds, repairs and snagging work Working flexibly and, where required, responding to work at short notice
  • Protecting surrounding areas and maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
  • Working in patient-facing areas while minimising disruption and respecting patient dignity and privacy
  • Removing waste responsibly and ensuring work areas are left clean and presentable
  • Cleaning, maintaining and correctly storing painting equipment and tools between uses
  • Following hygiene, infection control and health and safety requirements
  • Reporting hazards, defects and shortages of materials promptly
  • Providing clear updates to the Facilities team regarding progress, completion and any access issues

Qualifications:

  • No formal qualifications required; however, experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
