Job Description

Our client, one of the UK's largest comprehensive automotive accident repairers, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join their busy centre in Gloucester.

Duties of a Paint Sprayer:
  • Fulfil all tasks to the customer's complete satisfaction, ensuring quality workmanship
  • Complete assigned jobs within the estimated paint times efficiently
  • Safeguard vehicles and their contents during repairs
  • Ensure vehicles comply with safety standards upon completion
  • Conduct repairs according to best practice procedures and technical instructions
  • Use all paint mixing schemes, drying areas, and equipment accurately
  • Interpret technical data and implement it appropriately
  • Seek clarification from the Bodyshop Manager if work instructions lack clarity or seem incorrect
  • Maintain safety and quality standards at all times
Requirements of a Paint Sprayer:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer, ideally NVQ Level 3 and ATA accredited or equivalent
  • Alternatively, a strong, stable, and relevant time-served experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer
  • Valid driving licence
  • Strong team player with a high level of motivation and commitment
  • Ability to produce high-quality workmanship in a busy environment
  • Experience working to PAS 125 standards or ATA accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential
