The Business is Family owned, and managed, with 30 years experience in all areas of the construction sector their success is a strong testament to the supporting divisions within the group such as Crane Hire, Plant Hire, Construction & Demolition, Steelworks, Haulage, and Waste Recycling.

As part of our on-going growth, we are now looking to expand our team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paint Operator at our Steel Fabrication location in Tusker, Broomfield, Co. Monaghan.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial painting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work within a team and on your own initiative.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Positive, team-focused attitude with good communication skills
• Experience of gantry and forklift driving advantageous.
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety practices

Responsibilities

• Load and unload paint shop
• Preparing steel and equipment for painting
• Conduct shot blasting activities as required
• Spray painting and finishing to the highest standard
• Meet set targetsEnsure safe and controlled movement of steel, products and equipment
• Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies, procedures, requirements
• Responsible for the management and maintenance of paint and coating equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with health and safety regulations.
