As a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based, family-centred assessment and intervention programmes.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions within a modern clinic environment.
- Work collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary team.
- Support children with a range of developmental needs, including autism spectrum disorder and Down syndrome.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences and service development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate electronic clinical records.
- Deliver parent education and training sessions where appropriate.
- Contribute to CPD, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
Senior therapists will also provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior colleagues.
RequirementsApplicants should possess:
- A recognised Degree in Speech & Language Therapy.
- Current CORU Registration (essential).
- Membership of IASLT (or eligibility).
- Ideally 1+ years' paediatric experience, although newly qualified therapists are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with children with additional needs is desirable.
- Full driving licence (essential) and access to a vehicle for occasional school or community visits.
- Permanent full-time or part-time contracts
