Role: As a packing operative at Salamander Pumps, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products reach customers in perfect condition. Working as part of a friendly and dedicated production team, you'll be responsible for carefully packing, labelling, and preparing finished goods for despatch, maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency and quality at every stage. Key Responsibilities: You will be accurately packing finished products according to company standards (SOP's) and customer requirements All items must be correctly labelled and securely packaged for safe transportation Carry out visual checks to identify any defects or inconsistencies before packing Reporting any damaged goods, packaging shortages or equipment faults to the Line Leader Assist movement of stock and materials within the production and despatch area Collaborate with colleagues across the factory floor to enhance packing efficiency and product quality Skills & Experience: A continuous drive towards H&S regulations (and also any continuous improvement initiatives) Previous experience within a manufacturing/warehouse environment (this is not essential, as we'll train you up!) Flexibility to support other areas of the warehouse when required, meaning that a team player is required for this role! Being comfortable with being a little bit hands on (and on your feet for the shift).
