Packaging and Equipment Planner

As a Packaging and Equipment Planner, your role will ensure the timely and most cost-effective planning and availability of packaging and equipment to meet production requirements for the packing sites. Supporting the Packaging and Equipment Manager with project work and customer/product setup to drive improvement and add value to the Supply Chain process.

Reporting to:

Packaging and Equipment Manager

Main responsibilities

• Planning, controlling and administration of packaging and equipment for the Floods Ferry and Duns sites to meet product and packing requirements
• Raising and receiving purchase orders, ensuring all paperwork is received and logged on internal systems and tools
• Ensuring all equipment types are dehired daily to the relevant supplier web-portals
• Preparing for and leading supplier audits and month-end stock takes
• Creating and amending label designs using internal software

Our ideal candidate will have the following

• Competent with Microsoft Office, with excellence in Excel
• Able to communicate with both internal and external customers
• Experience using ERP systems
• FMCG experience
• Experience with Microsoft Navision
• Experience in a similar position in Fresh Produce
