Job Description

The Department of Surgery and Cancer is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Assistant to provide high-level professional executive support to the offices of multiple Professors.

The postholder will play a pivotal role in providing high level support to multiple Professors undertaking a wide range of duties and organisational responsibilities as directed by the Divisional Manager - APMIC.

What you would be doing

The postholder will be responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day management and organisation of the offices of the Professors and provide administrative support. Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to, providing diary management, arranging appointments, visits, drafting correspondence and reports, data entry and analysis, preparing presentations, making travel arrangements, processing financial requirements as well as other administration.

What we are looking for

The post holder will have proactive approach and possess exceptional organisational, prioritisation and communication skills with the ability to use their initiative to prioritise and manage complex tasks and diary arrangements. The post holder will be confident in working independently and with ambiguity, as well as being a strong team player. Strong analytical and numerical skills would also be advantageous.

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably providing support to a senior executive or personal assistant role(s), would be highly desirable.

This role is full-time, open-ended (35 hours per week). This role is five days a week on-site only, the post will cover Chelsea & Westminster Campus, St. Mary's and Hammersmith Hospital Campus and other hospital as required.
