Butterfly Conservation is looking for Practical Conservation Group Volunteers based in Silverdale, England. Volunteers will engage in hands-on conservation work that supports local wildlife, especially butterflies and moths. Tasks include cutting and raking on conservation sites, ensuring a safe environment for wildlife enthusiasts. You'll have the opportunity to learn about butterflies and the environment while enjoying working outdoors with like-minded individuals.
Volunteers are expected to commit to at least one work party during the conservation season, which usually runs from 10am to 4pm. Training will be provided and a willingness to learn is essential. Prior experience is not necessary.
