Job Description

The Project Trainer Specialist will design, deliver, and evaluate the OTSM training suite for a user base (5000+ across virtual and on premise locations). This training will range from simple documentation support to in-person sessions depending on the need of each team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct Needs Analysis: Consult with objective managers and stakeholders to identify critical training gaps caused by new processes or software.
  • Design Curriculum: Build comprehensive training frameworks, lesson plans, user guides, and digital learning assets tailored to diverse business audiences.
  • Deliver Training: Facilitate engaging instructor-led workshops, webinars, and hands-on system simulations across multiple business functions.
  • Support System Rollouts: Provide dedicated, high-touch training support during critical go-live windows to accelerate user adoption.
  • Evaluate Effectiveness: Measure training success using post-course assessments and feedback surveys to refine materials continuously.
  • Maintain Documentation: Update user manuals, knowledge base articles, and video libraries as project scopes and features evolve.
  • Administer LMS: Upload, track, and report on project-specific training completion metrics within the Learning Management System.

Requirements

  • Degree in Education, HR, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience delivering training explicitly linked to major business projects.
  • Deep familiarity with OTSM tool.
  • Excellent presentation, classroom management, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Exceptional adaptability to changing project timelines and a patient, user-focused mindset.

Desirable

  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or TAP accreditation.
  • Prior experience supporting OTSM rollouts.
  • Proficiency with training tools used by client
  • Strong understanding of client standard methodologies and processes.
  • High level of self-motivation with the ability to translate technical jargon into simple concepts.
