Duration: 12 months
Location: Hybrid - London 2-3 days per week
Rate: £510-£555 per day (Deemed Inside IR35 via umbrella payroll)

We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Consultant with strong expertise across IT/OT environments, focused on operating models, operational processes, controls, and governance, rather than purely architectural or technical cyber design.
This role will support corporate and industrial environments in defining, assessing, and improving OT target operating models, aligning people, process, technology, and controls to industry standards such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST.
We are seeking a OT Specialist to support our Operational Technology/IT transformation program. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of the programme across OT risk, operational resilience, and security uplift initiatives.
You will have demonstrable skills in the following:
- Deep real-world OT expertise
- IT/OT Convergence knowledge essential
- OT Risk expertise
- Real-world Operational Resilience experience
- Delivery and implementation insight
- IEC62443/NIST
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current OT and IT/OT operating environments to identify gaps in processes, controls, governance, and operational maturity
- Define and support the implementation of OT target operating models, including:
- Operational processes and workflows
- Roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities
- Sub-systems and operational interfaces
- Control frameworks and assurance mechanisms
- Develop OT transformation strategies and roadmaps focused on operational uplift, resilience, and sustainable delivery
- Support the uplift of OT security controls Embedded within day-to-day operations rather than standalone cyber solutions
- Establish and improve OT governance, standards, policies, and operational frameworks
- Work closely with engineering, operations, IT, and security stakeholders to ensure practical, site-ready solutions
- Support capability building, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder engagement across OT and IT teams
This contract is ideal for an OT professional who understands how security, resilience, and compliance must be Embedded into operations, not treated as standalone cyber or architectural initiatives.
