We are seeking an Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering Team Lead for a 1-year Contract.

Duties & Responsibilities- Lead design projects for assigned department projects.
- Coordinate project plans with team members.
- Serve as the customer contact when Division Managers are unavailable.
- Maintain communication with customers and inform VistaCare team of changes.
- Monitor schedules and ensure deadlines are met; develop contingency plans if needed.
- Review work of team members for adherence to timelines.
- Discuss project timelines with Regional and Division Managers.
- Read and interpret fibre network design drawings and outside plant records.
- Collaborate with other teams to solve project challenges.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Manage multiple projects with focus on deadlines and contingency planning.
- Proficient in computer skills and adaptable to new software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Understand various telecommunications standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of current construction practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Pass criminal record check.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- At least 2 years in Telecommunications or Fibre-to-the-Home design.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Diploma of Technology, preferably in Telecommunications, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for telecommunication network designs.
- Experience managing and leading design teams, overseeing schedules and resources.
- Salary based on experience and skills.
