Orthopaedics Nurse

We are urgently seeking a Orthopaedics Nurse for a hospital in Westmeath, Ireland.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to orthopaedic patients
• Prepare and support patients before and after orthopaedic procedures
• Monitor patients' clinical condition and respond appropriately to changes
• Assist consultants and theatre teams during orthopaedic procedures where required
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
• Ensure infection prevention and control standards are maintained
• Promote patient dignity, safety, and comfort at all times
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adhere to hospital policies, NMBI guidelines, and best practice standards

• Registered Nurse with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Previous acute hospital or orthopaedic nursing experience desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
