Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon looking to make a significant impact in the veterinary field? My client, a leading small animal orthopaedic referral practice, is seeking a talented individual to join their esteemed team.

About the practice

Imagine working in a newly refurbished facility nestled in a picturesque rural setting, equipped with three state-of-the-art operating theatres and an on-site CT scanner. My client is renowned for its comprehensive range of orthopaedic procedures, including THR, TPLO, CUE, and arthroscopy. You will be part of a dynamic team that includes an RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, a residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon, an RCVS Advanced Practitioner, and an Orthopaedic intern.

About you

The ideal candidate will hold a veterinary qualification recognised by the RCVS, allowing them to practise in the UK. This role is particularly suited to individuals who are RCVS Specialists in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics) or those who have achieved the RCVS/ECVS/ACVS diploma examinations.

Key Attributes
  • Enthusiasm and passion for orthopaedic surgery
  • Hardworking, motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards
  • Excellent communication skills with both referring vets and clients
