Job Description

Oracle HCM Specialist

  • Permanent contract, full time hours
  • £57,510 per annum (as well as the Local Government Pension Scheme)
  • London based
  • Flexible hybrid arrangement - ideally 1 day/week onsite but will consider 1 day/month

Our public sector client is seeking a skilled Oracle HCM/Payroll SME to support and enhance their Oracle Fusion environment. This is a hands-on role focused on system configuration, issue resolution and stakeholder support within a busy HR and payroll context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the SME for Oracle HCM and Payroll modules.
  • Design, configure and optimise Oracle Fusion to meet business needs.
  • Respond to and resolve technical issues and service tickets.
  • Lead and deliver system enhancements, working in Agile sprints.
  • Review and implement Oracle updates and patch releases.
  • Liaise with third-party support, internal teams and Oracle directly.
  • Provide functional support and training to end users.
  • Create reports using OBIEE, SQL and other tools.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and Payroll configuration.
  • Background in application support and systems development.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Public sector or local authority experience (desirable).
