Job Description:


Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working with Oracle Hyperion products/ Oracle Cloud EPM (Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM, FDMEE, Financial Close, etc.).
  • Proven experience in architecting, designing, and implementing Oracle Hyperion solutions in large-scale enterprises.
  • Strong background in financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Architecture and Design:
  • Lead the design and architecture of Oracle Hyperion solutions tailored to the organization's needs, including performance management, financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure integration with other enterprise systems, such as S/4HANA, CTRM and BI tools.
  • Develop solutions for both on-premise and cloud-based deployments (Oracle Hyperion Cloud).
  • Ensure that the architecture is scalable, secure, and efficient to meet evolving business demands.
  1. Solution Implementation:
  • Provide end-to-end implementation of Oracle Hyperion products, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Work closely with project managers, functional consultants, and developers to ensure successful deployments.
  • Develop and configure Hyperion modules such as Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Essbase, and other EPM products.
  • Design, configure, and optimize business rules, calculation scripts, and Essbase cubes to support financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  1. Customization and Integration:
  • Customize Hyperion solutions to meet specific business requirements.
  • Integrate Oracle Hyperion with other third-party systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
  • Develop data load processes, and support the integration of external data into the Hyperion system using FDMEE, Data Management, or other tools.
  1. Performance Tuning & Optimization:
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle Hyperion systems, including Essbase, Planning, HFM, and other components.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure that Hyperion systems are highly available and perform well during peak business periods (such as month-end close or budgeting cycles).
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for Oracle Hyperion solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to end-users, finance teams, and business analysts in understanding and using Hyperion applications.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for users and other team members.
  1. Technical Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor junior Hyperion consultants and developers.
  • Provide best practices and standards for development and deployment of Oracle Hyperion solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, especially around financial data management.
  1. System Maintenance & Upgrades:
  • Lead system upgrades, patches, and updates to Oracle Hyperion software.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, changes, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure systems are in compliance with Oracle support policies and best practices.
  1. Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
