Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Optometrist to join a thriving optical practice in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a modern, fully refurbished environment alongside a highly experienced and supportive team. With multiple vacancies available due to team growth and progression, we are keen to welcome ambitious Optometrists who are passionate about delivering outstanding eye care.

The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering excellent flexibility, no late nights, and alternate weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using the latest clinical technology

Deliver high-quality patient care with a personalised and professional approach

Confidently test at 25-minute sight test intervals

Identify and manage ocular conditions, making appropriate referrals when required

Participate in specialist services such as cataract referral pathways, glaucoma retention, and private enhanced services

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Ensure compliance with all GOC and clinical governance standards

Team Development:

Work collaboratively with a well-established team of optical professionals

Opportunity to support and mentor pre-registration optometrists

Option to work across a nearby sister practice equipped with equally modern facilities

About You:

GOC registered Optometrist

Confident, clinically focused, and patient-centred

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Keen to develop clinical interests and participate in specialist clinics

Flexible to work alternate weekends
