We're delighted to be recruiting an Optometrist for a highly regarded, long-standing independent group covering the beautiful coastal town of Bexhill-on-Sea. This is a rare opportunity to join a modern, high-end practice group with great connections with local hospital and consultants, that prioritises clinical freedom, patient care, and a genuinely relaxed working environment.

The Practice

• Independent, family-run group with a strong local reputation
• Recently refitted, modern and attractive practices
• Two test rooms per practice
• State-of-the-art equipment including Thomson test chart, Nidek retina scan, OCT, iCare tonometer, and a paperless Optix system
• 30-40 minute eye tests, (no pre screening)
• Approx. 10% contact lens work
• Frames include Boss, Gucci, Maui Jim, and Silhouette
• Pre- and post-cataract specialist services
• Strong professional relationships with local GPs, hospitals, and consultants
• Typically 2 support staff per practice, including a qualified Dispensing Optician
• Training & development encouraged, with support for additional WOPEC and advanced qualifications
• Free parking available
• Low-pressure environment with easy-going owners and managers who trust their clinicians

The Package

• Salary up to £70,000, with GOC & FODO fees paid and a CPD grant provided
• Extra day off around your birthday
