We'relooking for a hard-working, passionate Optometrist ready to provide ourcustomers with the best eyecare in the business.At Specsavers South Shields, we enjoy a collaborative and supportive environment and our team members have enjoyed many years working here. You will be joined by other Optometrists, with 5 test rooms long and short form all fitted with phoropters and OCT. The clinics are rolling and you will be working a mixture of 20/25 minute alternate testing times dependent on the patient needs.

South Shields is a coastal town in Tyne and Wear. We are within a 10 minute drive to the beach, where you can pop to Colmans Seafood Temple for some fantastic seafood, or for something more on the go, Temple Tacos for a Crispy Prawn or Fish Taco and delicious Fish and Chips. You could then take a stroll on the beach down to "Ocean Beach Pleasure Park" theme park which has rides and arcades suitable for all ages. We are close to the A1 and A19 and 5 minutes from the metro station, so easily accessible from most of Newcastle and surrounding.
