Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Optometrist to join a well-established and supportive optical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and developing their clinical skills within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
• Deliver contact lens assessments and aftercare
• Provide extended clinical services and patient management
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high clinical standards
• Offer excellent customer service and patient care
• Work closely with the wider optical team to ensure smooth daily operations
Team Development:
• Support and mentor colleagues where required
• Help maintain a positive and collaborative team culture
• Contribute ideas to improve patient experience and clinical services
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
About You:
• Fully qualified and GOC registered Optometrist
• Registered on the NHS Performer List
• Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen to continue developing clinically and professionally
• MECs/WECs accredited or willing to gain accreditation
