The practice has built an excellent reputation for providing personalised eye care and high quality eyewear, supported by a loyal patient base and experienced team.

The company will consider both qualified Dispensing Opticians and experienced Optical Practice Managers with a strong background in optical practice leadership.

Optical Practice Manager - Role

Independent opticians with a strong focus on patient careEstablished practice serving Newcastle-under-Lyme and the surrounding area45 minute appointments supported by modern clinical equipmentZeiss specialistsPremium frame range including Lindberg, Tiffany, Maui Jim and similar brandsOverall responsibility for the smooth running of the practiceManage, support, and motivate the team to deliver consistently high standardsHands on involvement in training and developmentHandle complex dispensing cases and patient queriesFull time role, 40 hours per week over 5 daysWorking Monday to Saturday with one weekday off plus Sunday closedPractice opening hours generally 9am to 5:30pm with one later evening during the weekSalary between £30,000 and £35,000 DOETeam incentives5 weeks holiday plus bank holidaysAdditional day off for your birthdayHealthcare planFamily and friends discountsCET and ongoing professional development supportedProfessional fees paidCycle to work scheme

Optical Practice Manager - Requirements

Previous experience working within an optical practiceWill consider qualified Dispensing Opticians or experienced Optical Practice ManagersProven experience managing and leading peopleConfident with day to day staff management and performance supportStrong communication and organisational skillsInterest in quality eyewear and premium brandsPatient focused with high standards of serviceComfortable making confident dispensing and leadership decisions
