Job Description

Position: Operations Manager (Domestic Heating)

Location: Emsworth, Hampshire

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Job Overview

Leading the day-to-day running of the business, including managing schedules, engineers, admin, sales and accounts staff
Overseeing the technical work carried out by a small team of Gas Engineers & Plumbers
Ensuring company compliance across Gas Safe and Health & Safety
Supporting the business' further growth through highlighting opportunities for new business and maximising the company's existing accounts
Being the point of contact for complex technical queries from engineers and customers, and providing customer service for complaints escalations
Assist on site where necessary, at times of heightened workload or complex jobs

Job Requirements

Strong technical background within the domestic heating industry, with previous experience as a hands on gas engineer working across installations, servicing and maintenance
Confident operationally, with previous experience managing small to medium teams
Understanding of the commercial responsibilities involved in managing a business, i.e. margin and retention
Ideally Gas Safe Registered, but this is not essential
Based within a commutable distance of Emsworth, Hampshire
