Operations Manager (night) - East Midlands - £30k per annum

Our client, a substantial Nottingham based print company, is seeking an operations manager to work night shifts, to manage output and efficiencies including continuous improvement of all operations in order to obtain optimum work performance and achieve pre determined targets.

• Act as the key contact and coordinator for the Print, Finishing and Warehouse processes during the night shift.
• Meet production targets and schedules as set out in the production plan.
• Maintain and drive production and workflow.
• Ensure Cell Leaders are fully informed of targets and plans.
• Work with Cell Leaders and staff to identify areas of improvement in both workflow and service, to achieve zero defects.
• Performance manage, coach and train associates to achieve both company and employee aims.
• Conduct annual associate reviews.
• Complete and review return to work interviews to reduce department absence percentages and manage timekeeping according to company procedures.
• Ensure PPE is worn in compliance with company requirements.
• Identify potential problems and take preventative action accordingly.
• Ensure all plant and equipment is operated in accordance with H & S practice.
• Maintain and manage departmental Quality and Health & Safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and its associated policies.

The candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills and be able to work within, as well as lead a team. The role also requires strong planning, organisational and analytical skills.
