Operations Manager

• Lead all warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Group Audit standards
• Control operational costs in line with budget and forecasts
• Review weekly operational reports, investigate variances, and drive corrective actions
• Plan resource levels to meet seasonal and volume fluctuations
• Support recruitment and retention of warehouse staff
• Mentor and develop team leaders, providing clear feedback and support
• Ensure strong adherence to WMS processes
• Handle employee relations and disciplinary matters in line with company policy

Requirements

• Proven senior management experience within a warehouse third party logistics environment
• Strong financial, analytical, and cost management skills
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities
• Deep understanding of warehouse processes and WMS systems
• A track record of developing high performing teams
• Confident decision maker with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong IT skills, especially with spreadsheets, databases, and warehouse systems
• Successful candidates must undergo necessary right-to-work checks
• Certain sites require 5-years' worth of referencing and criminal record checks
