The Site Operations Manager will oversee the daily running of a high-volume operational site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with environmental and legislative standards.
- Pay: Up to £52,000 per annum (Overtime available at £25.00 per hour)
- Hours of Work: 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays 07:00 - 12:00)
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits: Standard pension scheme, 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (additional service days after 5 years)
Acting in a hands on leadership capacity, the Site Operations Manager will manage site teams, plan labour and resources, and work closely with supervisors and the Wash Plant Manager to achieve production goals and maintain operational continuity.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications- Previous experience as a Site Operations Manager or in a similar senior operational role
- Sound understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong organisational and people management skills
- NEBOSH or IOSH Health & Safety qualification
- Experience within recycling, aggregates, or building materials environments
- NPORS or CPCS tickets for excavator or loading shovel operations
- Overtime paid at £25.00 per hour
- Hands on leadership role with full site responsibility

Acting as a hands on leader, the Workshop Manager will develop and execute fabrication schedules, manage workflows, meet production targets, quality standards and budgets, and drive continuous improvement across the workshop.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications- Proven experience as a Workshop Manager or in a similar role managing fabrication or engineering shop floor teams
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, technical drawings, welding techniques, and quality control standards (ISO)
- Experience with mild steel and stainless steel fabrication, including TIG and MIG welding
- Knowledge of pipework, vessels, and structural steel fabrication
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of improving team performance
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations and safe workshop practices
- Experience within chemical, food processing, hygienic, or other regulated industries
- Time served fabricator/welder with previous MIG and TIG coding
- Welding inspection qualifications
- Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH
- Focus on continuous improvement, productivity gains, and reducing environmental impact
- Hands on leadership role within a busy fabrication environment
