Job Description
Operations Manager (Wastewater) 
Location: Yorkshire (office/site-based)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager with a strong background in the wastewater sector to join our growing team in Yorkshire. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, managing projects from quotation through to completion, and leading a team to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage quotations, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability
- Oversee multiple wastewater projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Lead, motivate, and manage operational staff, fostering a high-performance culture
- Act as the primary point of contact between operational teams and the Managing Director
- Monitor project performance, providing regular reports and updates to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and business growth
- Proven experience in the wastewater industry (essential)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare quotations and manage project lifecycles
- Strong leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams effectively
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a results driven mindset
- Ability to work closely with senior management and contribute to strategic decisions
