Our client, a leading FE college in the Uxbridge/Harrow area, is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead their Building Services division within their Technical Apprenticeship School.
About the Role:

As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for curriculum management across the Building Services department, fostering employer relationships, and maintaining exceptional quality standards whilst leading a diverse team of lecturers and assessors.

Role: Operations Manager for Technical Apprenticeships
Location: Uxbridge/Harrow
Salary: £46,543-£50,646 per annum - including London weighting
Setting: Further Education College

Key Responsibilities: - Operations Manager - Technical Apprenticeships
• Manage and develop the Building Services curriculum within the Technical Apprenticeship School
• Build and maintain effective relationships with employers and external industry bodies
• Ensure robust quality assurance processes across all apprenticeship provision
• Line manage a team of lecturers and assessors, supporting their professional development
• Meet apprenticeship delivery targets and ensure successful learner outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and assessment
Essential Requirements: - Operations Manager - Technical Apprenticeships
• Minimum Level 3 academic/vocational qualification
• Recognised FE teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DET)
• Assessor and Verifier qualifications
• At least 3 years' experience in teaching or assessing
• Proven track record of meeting targets and ensuring successful outcomes
• Comprehensive understanding of apprenticeship programmes and Standards
• Experience in apprenticeship delivery
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate teams
Desirable:
• Experience in Building Services (advantageous but not essential)
• Knowledge of current FE funding methodologies and frameworks
• Experience in curriculum development and design
