Operations Manager - London - Up to £60k pa

The Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, execution and management of the company's entire print production process, including repro, digital print, finishing, warehouse and maintenance, to improve client performance in shipping, inventory and throughput.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operation
- Implement lean initiative plans and processes to minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials
- Ensure delivery of business objectives and production schedules while maintaining product standards that exceed customer expectations
- Implement lean thinking and deliver continuous improvement
- Coordinate with other departments e.g. suppliers and managers
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Review worker performance and identify training needs
- Work with fulfilment team to develop pick and pack to delivery
- Collaborate with managers to implement company policies and goals
- Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed
- Oversee selection and maintenance of equipment
- Work with commercial manager on planning
- Knowledge of lean working practices
- KPI setting and reporting
