At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Operations Manager within the Automatic Door Industry to join our client's growing team based in Kildare. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong understanding of the Automatic Door industry. This might suit an experienced service/ installation engineer or supervisor looking to get off the tools and start their career in an office based environment

Your new role includes:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the commercial and industrial doors division.
• Managing and supporting office staff and overseeing sales enquiries, quotations and customer requirements.
• Planning and scheduling installation, service, reactive and maintenance works.
• Coordinating engineers and ensuring jobs are correctly planned and resourced.
• Liaising with customers and clients regarding installations, servicing, repairs and ongoing works.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding products, parts, availability, pricing and deliveries.
• Using industry knowledge to ensure the correct products, parts and resources are allocated to each job.

Experience you need:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with the Automatic Door Industry
• Strong understanding of how jobs are planned and carried out on site.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities at the same time.
• A full clean driving licence.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification would be advantageous.
• DHF and/or ADSA certification would be advantageous.
