Operations Manager

Location: Leeds

Company: BR Pharmaceuticals is a well-established healthcare enterprise with over 30 years of sales and marketing expertise across the UK and EMEA. Our mission is to provide a high-quality range of Vitamins & Supplements at affordable prices worldwide. Operating from our 32,000 sq. ft. facility in West Yorkshire, we serve over 250 pharmacies and distributors throughout the UK, managing the entire production and distribution process from inception to delivery.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Leeds for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee the company's production, production planning, warehousing, and logistics functions.

Responsibilities
  • Managing production planning and scheduling to ensure efficient manufacturing operations
  • Overseeing day-to-day production, warehousing, and logistics activities
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Managing inventory levels, procurement, and material availability
  • Coordinating production planning with supply chain and warehouse teams
  • Supervising the work of production and warehouse teams
  • Improving operational efficiency, workflow, and on-time delivery
Qualifications
  • Experience in managing operations in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Strong experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management
  • Skills in logistics management, inventory control, and procurement
  • Experience in regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
Additional Preferred Qualification
  • Forklift license
  • Knowledge of ISO and BRC standards/application
