Job Description An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Operations Engineer
What you will do- Materials management - planning delivery of required materials to shopfloor for all Pharm Ops production campaigns, transfer request of materials on time to meet the production schedule.
- Escalation of any material issues pre-campaign as part of the production planning.
- Equipment management - Supports day to day production activity on the shopfloor to ensure equipment available for campaigns, downtime minimised, and production schedule realised.
- Data Integrity lead for Operations
- Leads small improvement projects in production to deliver IPT targets using appropriate Lean tools including the implementation of turnaround improvements, reduction of process variability, and waste elimination
- Provide support for Pharm Ops Model Areas including 12-week sprint initiatives in constraint modules.
- Operations Digital Visual Factory lead - focus on paperless operations and utilisation of Power BI, Spotfire, O365 tools, e-logs, eshopfloor to support digitisation
- Management of standard work boards; update and creation where required
- Commercialisation support - operationalisation of clinical and development campaigns and planning and supporting execution of any non-standard activities Author Operations related Deviations. Provide Operational expertise on other ancillary deviations
- GMP compliance - completion of factory walkdowns and closure of observations
- Hold a Third Level qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering or Science discipline OR, Relevant Manufacturing Formulation experience
- Have at least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate and influence across functions
- Lean Six Sigma Certification an advantage
- Interest and experience in Digital tools an advantage (Power BI, Spotfire, O365 tools, eshopfloor etc)
- SAP/MES knowledge/experience
