We are seeking an accomplished Operations Director to oversee a large, multi-site portfolio of care services across the UK. The RoleAs Operations Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a substantial portfolio of services, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, financial performance, and colleague engagement. Working closely with senior leadership, you will influence organisational growth while maintaining a culture where people remain at the heart of every decision.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership across a large national portfolio of care services.
- Lead, coach and develop Regional and Operational Managers to achieve outstanding performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, compliance and regulatory standards.
- Ensure excellent outcomes for the people supported through person centred, compassionate care.
- Monitor and improve operational performance, occupancy, quality indicators and financial results.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Lead on change management, service improvement and business growth initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with regulators, commissioners and external stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion and continuous learning.
- Support recruitment, succession planning and leadership development across operational teams.
- Ensure services consistently deliver safe, effective and high quality care.
- Minimum 5 years' senior leadership experience within the care sector.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, quality frameworks and governance.
- Demonstrable experience improving operational performance and regulatory outcomes.
- Commercially astute with strong financial and budget management experience.
- Inspirational leader with exceptional people management and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building abilities.
- Passionate about delivering compassionate, person centred care.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
