Job Title: Operations Director - North England

Salary: up to £90k basic plus executive package

A state of the art print and packaging firm is searching for an outstanding Operations Director to join their executive management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and lead all manufacturing operations, striving towards operational excellence.
• Implement and follow through on lean manufacturing processes to reduce waste and shorten ready times.
• Act as a hands on mentor to supervisors and managers, passing on knowledge and ensuring they become proficient in lean manufacturing practices.
• Support the company's expansion into large format/POS printing and other new territory.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrable background in lean manufacturing or other major continuous improvement quality systems.
• Experience in mentoring or training personnel on lean practices.
• Knowledge of large format/POS printing a plus.
