Our client requires an Operations Director with a working knowledge of lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and direct a team of over 100 people.
• Improve all round professional standards and team performance.
• Develop individuals within teams.
• Lead and promote innovative change and modern methodologies within the manufacturing area.
• Enhance quality and delivery performance to meet stringent customer requirements and lead times.
• Identify, promote and deliver cost reductions.
• Promote health and safety throughout the workspace.

Qualifications

• Substantial and successful experience managing people and processes to high quality standards in time constrained activities while also reducing costs.
• A "shirtsleeves", hands on approach to delivering objectives.
• Demonstrable success in creating and implementing change programmes with measurable positive impacts on customer service, quality and cost.
• Proven organisational and project management skills.
