Operations Coordinator London Permanent

Salary: 25,771

Shifts: 09:00 am - 18:00 pm / 10:00 am - 19:00 pm

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator.

We are looking for a proactive individual who enjoys coordinating teams and ensuring efficient operations to deliver excellent customer service. The role involves building strong relationships with staff and clients, and managing courier and supplier activities.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Answering phone lines professionally
  • Arranging collections, transit routes, and deliveries
  • Tracking bookings and consignments
  • Liaising with Operations and Imports departments to meet SLA requirements
  • Providing updates to customers on exceptions or issues
  • Requesting and entering PODs from agents
  • Reporting discrepancies to Managers
  • Providing quotes to customers
  • Monitoring Service Centre emails
  • Working with suppliers to ensure high-quality service

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience in dispatching vehicles or vehicle allocation
  • Respectful and professional in all interactions
  • Prompt and effective in responding to customer and supplier needs
  • Ensures timely collection and delivery of jobs
  • Handles operational queries effectively and communicates outcomes clearly
  • Proactively suggests service improvements
  • Excellent listening and empathy skills
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision
