You will be working in the Building Services OU, based in Walsall Hospital, who are responsible for creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes and efficient facilities that improve people's lives. We are currently looking for a Operations Co-Ordinator who will be responsible for controlling operational activities in relation to the facilities management services at Walsall Manor Hospital. This includes issuing, reviewing and closing Planned Preventative Maintenance(PPM) and reactive breakdown work within defined SLAs.

As the Operations Co-Ordinator, you will:
  • Ensure that works are monitored effectively and issued out to labour resource in a timely and effective manner.
  • Review engineers notes and service reports in relation to the maintenance services across site, appropriately escalating issues identified as required.
  • Engage with maintenance operatives and sub-contractors in connection with maintenance services across site as required.
  • Ensure, where identified, additional works tasks are raised for further attendance and where required quoted for in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to schedule attendance to complete PPM tasks and reactive call out works.
We are looking for:
  • Previous experience within facilities services.
  • Be able to work within a team and provide support where required.
  • Evidence of forming and maintaining good stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficient IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages.
  • Previous experience within a scheduling role is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with CAFM systems is desirable.
