If you enjoy hands-on work, following clear procedures in a fast-paced environment and contributing to meaningful research while keeping flexibility in your schedule, this could be a great fit.This is a Bank (0-hours) position , where work is offered based on study schedules and clinic demand.Office-based job at our Drapers Yard Clinical Research Unit, just a 7-minute walk from the train stationShifts are scheduled Monday to Sunday and may include weekends, twilight shifts and night shifts, based on availabilityDuring busier periods, you could work up to 37 hours per week; however, the number of hours offered can vary from week to week depending on operational needs.WHO YOU AREYou may have built your experience in hospitality , retail , customer service or another fast-paced, people-focused operational environment.You don't need a scientific background or a degree. Depending on the studies running, you will support different stages of Phase I clinical trials, working alongside nurses, doctors and fellow technicians.You will play a hands on role in ensuring studies are delivered safely, accurately and on time. Your day to day activities may include:Accurately perform blood pressure, venipuncture, body weight, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readingsPreparation and accurate recording of ECGs/HoltersCollection and processing of biological samples as specified in the protocol and ensure the proper distribution of those samplesMonitor meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participantsAssist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipmentMaintain a clean, safe and efficient working and study environmentAccurately record all research data obtained or observedAssist with QC of source documents and case report formsEverything you do contributes to one shared goal: ensuring each study is conducted to the highest quality standards.
