Are you an organised and detail-focused Operations Administrator who genuinely enjoys working with numbers, systems and processes? This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing Royston-based business in a newly created role, providing essential support across purchasing and production planning.
This isn't a straightforward general administration position. You'll be working with purchasing information, costs, stock, reconciliations and project data, so you'll need to be numerically confident, logical and naturally accurate. Previous exposure to purchasing, supply chain or accounts is important, along with the ability to understand processes and get to grips with technical information.
Operations Administrator - Benefits Offered- £30,000 per annum

- Manage purchasing and production inboxes and associated administration
- Maintain accurate purchasing, pricing and supplier information
- Process goods received, ensuring accurate cost information and delivery documentation
- Complete three-way matching and stock reconciliations
- Maintain project costing records and associated administration
- Produce reports and maintain accurate operational data
- Prepare factory documentation, including labels and fitting instructions
- Support logistics, including gathering pallet information and arranging transportation
- Provide administrative support to the Purchasing and Planning teams
- Provide cover across purchasing and planning during holidays and absences
- Previous exposure to purchasing or supply chain is advantageous
- Experience within purchasing for a manufacturing/product environment
- Accounts or finance exposure would be highly advantageous
- Strong numerical ability - you must enjoy working with maths and numbers
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using systems and learning new software
- Ability to understand and work with technical information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
