We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Administrator to join the Ear Institute's Professional Services team. This varied role is central to ensuring the smooth day to day running of the Institute, supporting building management, operations, facilities, and internal events.
You will act as the lead administrative contact for UCL maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.
You will also be a key point of contact for staff and visitors, coordinating meetings and committees, managing office and space requirements, and supporting a range of operational activities. The role involves organising internal events and providing on the day support.
This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require a right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
About youYou will be an organised and detail oriented administrator with experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy building effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
With strong organisational and time management abilities, you will be able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and high standards. You will be proactive, flexible, and solutions focused, with a positive, can do attitude.
You will bring experience in administrative support, including facilities and building related responsibilities, committee servicing, and event organisation. Confidence using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
